My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Asia!!

Asia is a 10-year old spayed female. She is microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations and FIV/FeLV negative!

***Thanks to a generous donation from Tika’s owners, all senior cat adoption fees are being sponsored through our Tika Senior Cat Adoption Promotion – including Asia's!***

Asia is an independent, curious girl who likes to experience life on her own terms. She’s comfortable sharing space with other pets and people, as long as her boundaries are respected—she’ll happily sniff hello, but may let you know with a hiss if she’s not in the mood. Don’t worry though, those moments pass quickly, and she’s often right back asking for affection.

Asia is quite the explorer and loves hopping up to check out her surroundings, chatting to herself as she wanders around the house with her sweet, vocal meows. When she’s ready to relax, she enjoys curling up next to her favorite person on the couch and will rub against you to ask for pets. Her favorite spots are her chin, ears, head, and back (belly rubs are a no-thank-you).

She tolerates being picked up but prefers all four paws on the ground, and she has a playful side—especially when it comes to wand or string toys she can bat and chase. Asia would do best in a home that appreciates a cat with personality, gives her space when she wants it, and enjoys a loving companion who chooses cuddles on her own terms.
