Meet Otto – Your Shadow, Adventure Buddy, and Best Friend

Otto is an outstanding, approximately 2-year-old German Shepherd with the happiest heart and the goofiest personality. He is fun, affectionate, energetic, and truly thrives on being right by his person’s side. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be part of everything you do, Otto is your guy.

This handsome boy loves to run alongside the four-wheeler and enjoys staying active, but his favorite place will always be right next to his people. Otto does not enjoy being away from his humans and would do best in a home where he can be included in daily life. He is eager to please, loyal to the core, and happiest when he knows he belongs.

Otto is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventions. He is ready to start his next chapter with a family who will appreciate his devotion, energy, and big shepherd heart.

Submit Application

Please fill out the inquiry/application form and submit on our website.You will receive info from foster/counselor in return.

Approve Application

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

Pay Fee

If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required for dogs. However, because it stresses cats to be confined and transported with dogs long distances, we do not transport our cats. They are local to Texas only. Thank you.

Adoption fees with transport included start at $400 higher prices for Purebred and/or highly desirable pets. Adoption application, adoption contract, return/foster agreement if dog doesn't work out in home.

We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
