Hi, I’m Lowell! I’m a low rider with a lot of love to give. I absolutely love people and love getting pets and scritches. I enjoy playing with toys, and I like to hold a toy in my mouth while I’m getting pets. I can be a little mouthy when I’m playing or excited, so it’s best to have a toy nearby for me to hold instead. While I do have a lot of energy, I also love to snuggle up with you on the couch while you watch TV. I get along with other dogs after a slow and proper introduction. I can be forward and try to be dominant over them, but I take corrections from other dogs well. I have been interested in the outside cats near my foster home, but can leave them alone after some sniffing. I can have very loud and piercing barks at times, so I cannot go to an apartment-style home. Those loud barks are mainly when I want another dog’s attention because I have FOMO (fear of missing out). If you’re looking for a short king who wants to be the center of attention, I’m your guy!

We are setting up adoptions with approved adopters on an appointment basis. We are no longer hosting adoption events at PetSmart until further notice. We are not arranging meet and greets; but appointments to finalize adoptions to limit exposure for all. Our adoptions come with a one week trial period in which if things are not working out, we will refund your adoption fee if you decide to return your newly adopted Faithful Friend. Our adoptions must be done in person at PetSmart (3736 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville, FL 32608) and we do not arrange transport to adopters.
