Hi! I’m Sams. My journey to the shelter is quite the tale! One night, under the twinkling stars, I followed a shimmering trail left by a wandering fairy. Curious and playful, I frolicked after it until I found myself at the shelter’s doorstep. Here, I’ve become the queen of hide-and-seek and the champion of the laser pointer. I’m a bundle of energy and laughs, but I’ll also curl up shyly beside you when it’s quiet. The Morgan County Humane Society is a non-profit organization exempt from Federal taxes under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are permitted to accept tax-deductible gifts from donors.

The goal of the Morgan County Humane Society is to provide animal services to all animals, both domestic and farm. We realize there is a need for these services for at least one-half of the citizens of the county, especially in the rural areas.
