Gizmo is a handsome tricolor Beagle boy. His approximate age is 3 years old. He’s on the smaller side, 27lbs. Gizmo has a shorter tail, we’re not sure if he was born like that or if something happened to his tail, however it does’t seem to bother him at all, it’s just a unique trait!
We were told that he was an outdoor dog, so he’s not potty/house trained. We’re currently working on crate training, to sleep indoors at night. His previous family had to move and couldn’t bring him over. He’s ok with other dogs and friendly with people, unknown about kids or cats, but he’s a friendly dog overall. He’s also an active dog, he’d love a home with a backyard to run and play. A loving home with an active Beagle experienced family would be amazing!
Included with adoption:

- Vaccinations up to date (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies)
- Rabies Certificate
- Fecal test (Negative results)
- FLEX4 test: Negative results for Heartworm, Anaplasma and Lyme. Positive result for Ehrlichia.
- Medication to treat Ehrlichia (1 month of Doxycycline pills)
- Medication to treat ear infection (1 week of ear drops)
- Heartworm/Flea/Tick/Worm preventive given up to date (Simparica Trio)
- Microchip with prepaid lifetime enrollment (AKC reunite)
- Neuter surgery
- Leash and collar with microchip ID collar tag
- Adoption contract
- Some of his current food
Gizmo is ready to be adopted, he’s taking some meds and would provide the remaining medication to his adopter, if he gets adopted prior to finishing his treatments. Pick up would be in San Diego, CA. Transportation could be arranged to the right home, if needed.
