Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Archie, a explorer first, cuddle buddy always.
I’m about a year and a half old, friendly as they come, and already settling into foster life like I own the place. One night in and I had favorite spots picked out (prime napping real estate is important). I’m curious and confident. I’d rather do a full house inspection than chase toys, but once I’m done exploring, I’m all about snuggling up. I’ve got a great temperament and a big, affectionate heart.
I’m excellent with other cats and love having feline friends to play with. I run, jump, climb furniture, and zoom up and down stairs without a second thought. You might notice I have a slightly unusual walk, but it’s subtle, and honestly most people don’t even notice it at first. I don’t need any special care beyond keeping me at a healthy weight so I can stay feeling my best.
You’ll also notice my ear. I came in with an injury that meant part of it had to be removed. I like to think it adds character. Rugged charm, if you will.
Bottom line? I’m a social, cuddly, easygoing guy who loves other cats, enjoys a good explore, and knows exactly when it’s time to curl up and be adored. If you’re looking for a friendly companion who fits right into your home (and onto your couch), I might just be your Archie. 🐾💛

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
