My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Interested in adopting? Please fill out an application at this link: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ACIL/Cat
Please specify the animal's name and ID number (if the ID number is not entered, we may mix up the animal you're interested in!) A staff member will reach out to you asap to discuss your application).

Are you looking for the most darling senior lap cat to become your new best bird watching friend? A cat who will endear you with all of her opinions from the quality of her food to your home decor? Look no further than Maizy! After a rough start of being fearful and shy in the shelter, within a dedicated and patient foster home, Maizy has opened up into the most wonderful mix of independent and affectionate, sassy and sweet. She doesn't enjoy having her nails trimmed or her paws touched, but she's learned to tolerate it using a cat muzzle; old cats *can* learn new tricks! Maizy enjoys being tucked under quilts for long naps and even rolls over for belly rubs! We would love to connect you with her foster to learn more. Reach out today to give Maizy the golden years she deserves!
