Meet Xena & Ivy
Some bonds are unbreakable—and Xena and Ivy are living proof.
These beautiful sisters were abandoned, and when tragedy struck, Xena was hit by a car and left on the side of the road with a broken leg. Through it all, Ivy never left her side. She stayed with her injured sister for hours, refusing to leave her alone, until help finally arrived.
They were taken to a kill shelter, where Xena was immediately listed for euthanasia due to her injuries. A rescue stepped in just in time—but there was no way Ivy could be left behind after proving how deeply devoted she is to her sister. Thanks to multiple rescues working together, Xena and Ivy were saved TOGETHER, just as they should be.
🖤 Xena is the injured sister. She is currently on the road to healing and recovery, and does best with her sister right by her side—her comfort, her calm, her reason to keep going.
🤎 Ivy is the loyal protector. Gentle, loving, and deeply attached to Xena, she provides constant reassurance and companionship.
These girls have already been through more than any dog should—but they have never given up on each other.
✨ Their greatest miracle now would be finding a forever family willing to open their hearts and home to both of them together. A family who believes that love like this deserves to stay intact.
