Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lisel was found wandering outside by someone with cat allergies. Sweet and vocal she likes to be the center of attention and is still full of kitten energy. So far she does not like other cats, which is common for cats that have lived outside, and would prefer an only cat home.
Come see her Wednesday through Sunday noon to 3, Saturday noon to 4.

We currently have many wonderful cats available for adoption. The fee is $75.00. This fee includes feline leukemia and FIV tests, microchip, spaying or neutering, rabies and feline distemper vaccines, and deworming. We do not adopt to homes that declaw or let their cats outside.

Just off US 1, north of the Pineda causeway on Otter Creek Lane...our paws accept visitors Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 4pm (3pm on Sunday). It is a great idea to bring your own carrier in case you find your purrfect match and adopt on the same day.

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of South Brevard is an independently-run, non-profit, no-kill animal shelter. We DO NOT euthanize ANY animal unless their quality of life would suffer due to major medical problems. Our cats are free to roam inside our facility. We always strive to provide individual attention to all of our animals until they can be placed in caring, loving, lifetime homes. We have provided this service since 1978. In the unlikely event you find the pet you have adopted does not quite fit into your family, we will always take our cats back.
We take in cats on a pre-arranged basis only. Since we are a no kill shelter we take new cats as cats are placed and make room for more.
