If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Babe is a quiet and supportive Husky who gets along with other pets and people easily. She was adopted as a stray by my aunt and mother, and as the last of the two sisters just passed away, that has created this need for Babe to find a new home. She has certainly been well loved.
She does best with more consistent outdoor access as she has a finicky bladder, and she has had regular grooming and veterinary checks met. She is actively on heartworm medication and has one shorter limb which limits her from being the most active dog. She’s not at risk of running away and is used to being by someone’s side for frequent petting which she adores.
