My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look into Buster’s eyes—what do you see? There’s love, adoration, and a heartfelt plea for a “furever” home. Buster is an 8-year-old, 68-pound neutered male retriever/terrier pit mix who arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 1/23 as a stray. His striking dark brown eyes are his most prominent feature, and his upbeat, joyful, loving personality makes him seem much younger than his age. He pranced happily around the yard, staying alert and curious as he explored. His tail never stopped wagging. Treats are a big motivator for him, and while he sits for them, he’ll need to learn to take them more gently. This well-mannered gentleman walks beautifully on a leash and takes care of business quickly once outside. He dreams of a yard to play in and a cozy bed or blankets to snuggle into inside your home.
