My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate date of birth: 7/15/2025 | Hello to all the feline admirers out there! My name is Tessa Wobli- you can call me 'Tessa'. I am quite a special little gal, if I may say so myself. I have a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia or CH for short. It is basically a neurological disorder affecting my balance. It happens when the part of my brain (cerebullum) is underdeveloped and it causes me to wobble and shake A LOT. I can only take 2-3 steps before I fall over. I spend the vast majority of my life on the ground, both flopping and leaping about. Don't worry as it is not painful. I am quite adept at getting to where I need or want to go which is usually towards a toy (ball), friends (both human & feline), or food! I have mastered the use of a litter box and eat all by myself from special bowls. I am super affectionate and playful. I love all toys (did I mentioned BALLS before?) and my feline friends. I am known to enjoy snuggling on the bed with my human as well. I will sleep for hours but she has to ensure I do not roll off accidentally. My human's sister recently suggested she purchase me a helmet, but my foster mom bought me a wheelchair instead. I get to try my new ride very soon. So if you are interested in living with your very own real life Bobble head kitten toy, come meet me!! Love- Tessa | Sociable with cats: Loves cats and requires a companion if home alone for a long time. | Sociable with dogs: Likes dogs with proper introduction. | Sociable with kids: unknown but optimistic.| Health information: All cats and kittens are spayed and neutered, preventatively dewormed, and microchipped. In addition, they are FeLV/FIV tested and vaccinated as appropriate by age. | Interested in adopting? Additional adoption info

We will adopt to out of state adopters but we do NOT ship animals under any conditions. You must come to us in person to meet the animal and make sure it is a mutual match. We have had many adopters come from the states around us and drive or fly with their new family member back.

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
