Papa (aka Big Papa) is a gentle 17-lb hunk who’s ready to trade outdoor life for a cozy forever home. He was cared for by kind homeowners, but years on the streets left him FIV+. FIV simply means a weaker immune system—Papa can still live a long, happy life indoors. With his calm, sweet demeanor, he does great with other cats and would make a wonderful companion in a loving home.

As of 2013, dog adoption fees range from $225 for dogs to $325 for puppies, and some dogs may have reduced or waived adoption fees. Cat adoption fees range from $25 for older adult cats to $140 for young kittens, with some cats' adoption fees waived.
