My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buster is a senior beagle with a big heart, a bigger voice, and an endless supply of love to give. True to beagle form, he has his opinions-and hes not shy about sharing them! Whether its announcing mealtime, asking for extra pets, or singing the song of his people (or beagles in his case), Buster will keep you smiling with his expressive nature.

This sweet soul lives for affection. Cuddles, belly rubs, and simply being near his humans that are at the top of Busters wish list. He may be older, but his love is deep, loyal, and constant-the kind that only comes with age and wisdom. He likes his fosters cat and loves to nap!

If youre ready to open your heart (and maybe your ears) to a loving senior who just wants to be cherished, Buster is ready to meet you!

More about this shelter

Richmond Animal League (RAL) is committed to saving lives by giving hope, help, and loving homes to animals in need. Our vision: All cats and dogs are in a loving home with access to the support they need to thrive.

RAL has been committed to saving the lives of animals and finding loving homes for pets for over 45 years. Since 1979, we’ve worked with area shelters to provide temporary housing, medical treatment, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and loving care to tens of thousands of pets who were then adopted into new homes.
