Valley is a 1-year-old miniature long-haired dachshund with a sweet personality and gentle nature. She is a young adult, fully grown, affectionate, and enjoys being close to her people.
We are rehoming Valley due to a change in our family situation. We recently welcomed a newborn and are an active-duty military family, and we are no longer able to give her the consistent time and training she needs.
Valley can be anxious in new environments and barks frequently, especially when she is nervous or adjusting to new situations. She is not fully potty trained and has been difficult to potty train, so she will need a patient, understanding home willing to continue working with her using routine and positive reinforcement.
She would do best in a calm, stable home, preferably with someone experienced with dachshunds or small dogs. Once she feels safe, Valley is very loving and bonds closely with her person. We are looking for a committed and compassionate home for her
