Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Kat, a 9-year-old brown tabby with a calm, loving nature and a heart full of affection. She was surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her and is now looking for a quiet, peaceful home to settle into. Kat would do best in a low-key environment without small children, where she can relax and enjoy her favorite things—gentle pets, warm laps, and quality time with her people. She has lived with other cats before and may do well with a compatible feline companion.
Kat previously had breast cancer, and the affected tissue was surgically removed via a mastectomy in November. At this time, there is no evidence of spread, and she is currently doing well, but it is something that should be monitored for the rest of her life. Kat is ready to enjoy life, love, and cozy companionship in her next home.
