My story

Im Esme! Im approximately 1 year old. A kind family took me in when I was pregnant. They kept me safe and helped me bring my babies into this world. They knew my babies and I needed the best homes so they reached out to the rescue to help. I am now living in a foster home spending my days keeping an eye on the house from a comfy window bed. I love to explore and get ALL the attention. Im a sweet girl that wants a family all my own to spoil me like I deserve. If you have love to give and are looking for a furry friend that will love you forever, Im your girl.

Esme is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV!

Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes!

At the time of adoption, we do not have a set adoption fee. Instead we ask for a donation, in the amount of your choice.

We ask to allow 7-10 days for us to process your application as our rescue is volunteer based. A lot of times it takes us less time to review and approve you, but please be patient as the animals are our first priority! Please keep an eye on your junk/spam box as often times our emails land there. Once you complete an adoption application you will receive an auto email from us letting you know that we have received your application!

We're OK Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 animal rescue dedicated to helping dogs and cats in need. We provide safe foster homes for animals, and we support our community with guidance to low-cost options for spay/neuter, vaccinations, and pet food for both dogs and cats.

Our mission extends beyond rescue-we're working to launch our mobile unit (a converted bus) to deliver affordable veterinary services to underserved areas in and outside the metro. With this mobile outreach, we aim to reduce pet overpopulation, improve animal health, and support families who love their pets but need a little extra help.

We are 100% volunteer run with no paid employees and operate on donations.
