My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Since I'm a long stay pup, my adoption fee has been reduced! Visit me today to find out my favorite treats and how you can take me home!

A previous foster writes:
Pepsi is so sweet and affectionate. She loves to be around her humans and is a quick learner. She does have some behavioral issues on a leash, only when people are walking by or she sees other dogs. She is so excited to meet everyone on the street but is fearful and aggressive towards other dogs. However, I see much improvement from when she first came home with me.

A previous foster writes:
Meet Pepsi! 🐶✨
This 4-year-old fizzy ball of love is sweet, silly, and always ready for snuggles. Pepsi's favorite activities include zoomies in the yard, awkwardly trying to sit on your lap (she thinks she's tiny), and giving you the world's goofiest grin. She's got the heart of a teddy bear and the energy of a soda can just cracked open. Looking for a loyal best friend with a soft side and a playful spirit? Pepsi is your girl. 🖤🐾 #AdoptPepsi

Pepsi is a smart and curious pup enrolled in our Shelter Scholars program, where she's learning to navigate walks with greater calm and confidence. Focused on reducing on-leash reactivity, she's practicing redirection skills, engagement cues, and leash handling techniques to help her feel more secure. Pepsi is responding well to training and showing steady improvement with each session.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together!
