Meet Bigglesworth 🤍
A survivor. A soft soul. A dog who refused to give up.
When Bigglesworth was found, she was barely clinging to life.
She was living on a literal trash pile—skin and bones, starving, covered in painful open wounds from severe mange. Her body was fighting everything: Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis, infection, hunger, exhaustion. She was missing most of her teeth. She was so broken down that everyone believed she had to be over 10 years old.
It’s hard to put into words how close she was to the end.
But Bigglesworth chose to stay.
She endured treatment after treatment. Healing that wasn’t quick or easy. Days where recovery hurt. Days where progress felt slow. And through it all, she remained gentle. Quietly brave. Patient. Trusting, even after the world had failed her in every possible way.
And then… something incredible happened.
She healed.
Her body grew strong.
Her eyes softened.
Her spirit came back online.
Now that she’s healthy, we’ve learned the truth: Bigglesworth isn’t a frail senior at all. She’s only about 5 years old—a dog who survived years of neglect and still has so much love left to give.
Bigglesworth is a 55-lb shepherd mix with the sweetest, calmest soul. She is gentle with people, does wonderfully with respectful dogs, and is even cat-friendly. She’s crate trained, incredibly polite, and has the best smile—one that feels extra special knowing how hard she fought to be here.
And then there are her ears.
Her glorious, ridiculous, perfect ears.
They grow straight out of the sides of her head instead of on top, giving her the most endearing, goofy look—like she’s constantly listening with her whole heart.
Bigglesworth has known hunger. Pain. Loneliness.
What she hasn’t known yet… is home.
She doesn’t need anything fancy. She just wants safety. Soft places to rest. Kind voices. A family who sees her not for what she was, but for the miracle she is now.
If you’ve ever wanted to be the happy ending to a dog who truly earned it—
Bigglesworth is waiting.
