My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Draco — The Fluffiest Little Speedster

Draco is an active, playful little guy who lives life at full throttle. Chasing, stalking, pouncing, jumping — if it moves (or even if it doesn’t), it’s instantly his new best friend. He’s a growing boy with a strong appreciation for routine, especially when it comes to meals. He likes to eat on a schedule and will absolutely remind you if you forget — expect very clear, determined meows until the situation is corrected. (His father will hear about this!)

Draco is adventurous, fearless, and always the first to try something new. He was the trailblazer of his litter — first to use the litter box, first to sample solid cat food, and first to leap confidently from the high spots. Because he’s still young, Draco needs to be adopted into a home with another kitty friend to socialize with. He loves chasing, grooming, and cuddling with feline companions. He would especially love to be adopted with one of his sisters, Helga or Bellatrix, or with his mom, Kitty, whom he especially loves... the two of them adore playing and cuddling together.

Draco is very athletic! He zooms around like a tiny rocket and can jump impressively far for such a little guy. Charge-up toys that fly or zoom are his absolute favorite, and he’ll chase them like there’s no tomorrow. Give him a box and he’ll turn it into a fortress, hideout, or launchpad for his next great mission. If he can't find a good box he’s also perfectly happy snoozing on top of your clothes hamper (clean or dirty — he’s not picky as long as it’s cozy).

After a good, energetic play session, Draco is happy to switch gears. He loves cuddling with other cats — and with his humans — once he’s burned off his energy. He’s independent enough to entertain himself, but he truly thrives with interaction, structured playtime, cozy downtime, and plenty of snuggles. Think: active fun followed by wet pâté, affection, and maybe another round of play for good measure.

Draco has been exposed to his siblings and mom, as well as two large dogs and adult cats, and he loves cuddling with everyone. He’s social, confident, and not afraid to test boundaries to see who might be up for a snuggle session. He would do well in an active household with space to play, explore, and zoom, and he’d likely do great with children, especially kids who are playful but gentle and enjoy interactive fun followed by cuddle time.

Draco also comes with a very distinct, unmistakable meow that lets you know exactly what he wants — food, attention, playtime, or to be picked up. It’s basically him saying, “HELLO! I’m right HERE!” Add in his ridiculously soft fur, his love of head-to-back pets, and his constant motion, and you’ve got one unforgettable kitten.

If Draco had a superpower, it would be super speed — zooming from one adventure to the next, always first to explore, play, and get into just a little mischief. Basically, the Flash… but fluffier. Apply to meet him today and watch him zoom into your heart!

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
