Glissade is a beautiful little black and white domestic shorthair. She is people oriented and shows signs of becoming very chatty as she matures. Gregarious and outgoing, she is bonded with Quark.
Glissade loves attention and, while not particularly dominant, she muscles her way into your arms or lap to make sure she’s in first position when the cuddles and pets are handed out. Her purr comes easily because she is a happy little girl. She’ll let you hold her without limits.
She is active and playful, with no bad habits. She is only a bit independent, much preferring socializing with her mates and humans. She loves a good brushing and likes to chase her treats down if thrown out to her. She will bring a lot of love and sunshine into her forever home.
While this little one has not been around dogs, there is no doubt that she would adjust well to a household with other animals. This sweet little girl is spayed, up to date on her shots and boosters, defleaed, dewormed, microchipped, and has a clean bill of health.
Adoption Information
To ensure safe and successful placements, we require:
All cats adopted through **Silverton Cat Rescue** are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccinations.
We are **not first-come, first-served**. Our goal is to match each kitty with the *purrfect* home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a volunteer-run **501(c)(3) nonprofit**, and all cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate meet-and-greets with our fosters.
Why We Encourage Kitten Pairs
Kittens are social and do best with a feline friend. A buddy helps with confidence, proper play, and emotional well-being. We encourage adopting kittens in pairs, or adopting a single kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.
Fun fact: **Two kittens are often easier than one!**
