Chantilly is a medium-haired Maine Coon Tabby Mix. She is very regal and behaves like a duchess. She is bonded Monkey.
She is very expressive with her tail, a fluffy that flume furls and unfurls in the air like a squirrel’s. Her fur is as soft as the air, and almost feels like it is not there. Chantilly has an engaging and loving nature. She particularly likes to stare into your face. She is a happy girl and will purr for more than a half hour at a time. She is content in your lap and by your side and love to brushed and snuggled and petted.
Chantilly may be a fairly large girl when grown, given that she is growing fast and is fairly large for her age. She plays very nicely with others and has no bad habits.
She has not been around dogs, but there is no doubt that that would adjust well to a household with other animals. This precious little girl is spayed, up to date on her shots and boosters, defleaed, dewormed, microchipped, and has a clean bill of health.
Chantilly will bring a welcome light into your home with her sweet spirit and gentleness.
Adoption Information
To ensure safe and successful placements, we require:
All cats adopted through **Silverton Cat Rescue** are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccinations.
We are **not first-come, first-served**. Our goal is to match each kitty with the *purrfect* home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a volunteer-run **501(c)(3) nonprofit**, and all cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate meet-and-greets with our fosters.
Why We Encourage Kitten Pairs
Kittens are social and do best with a feline friend. A buddy helps with confidence, proper play, and emotional well-being. We encourage adopting kittens in pairs, or adopting a single kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.
Fun fact: **Two kittens are often easier than one!**
