Janet & Rita DESPERATELY need a foster

Two lifelong besties who grew up together, partied hard (well… as hard as chihuahuas can), and have officially decided to retire from the nightlife. These days they’re all about early bedtimes, cozy blankets, and judging you lovingly from the couch.

These bonded ladies are small, toothless (no teef, no problems), fully house trained, and quiet, low-key companions. They’re leaving the party life behind and are just looking for a calm place to enjoy their golden years.

Janet and Rita came to us earlier this year from a hoarding case and have come such a long way. Sadly, their foster mom has an unexpected move, so these two besties are back on the hunt for their retirement home. Think “Golden Girls,” but tinier, quieter, and much cuter.

We will call to speak with you, and go through your application and contact your vet.

Approve Application

Your application is approved pending the home visit.

Home Check

We will do a home visit or need pictures of your home.

There is a $300 adoption fee for all dogs

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption application and conduct home visits and vet checks before approving a family for one of our pets. The adoption fee is $300 and includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip.

We have adoption events every other Saturday at the Petsmart in Buford (Mall of Georgia) from 11:30-3:00. Please check our Facebook page for updates and animals attending.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer/foster based rescue that was started over 20 years ago. We pull from our local shelters, and helped start and continue to fund a local spay and neuter program. We welcome new volunteers to help with adoptions, foster, transport, events, photo's, etc.
