My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Denver ☀️🐶

Denver is a happy, goofy hound dog who wakes up every day ready to enjoy life. This lovable guy has a big personality, a bigger smile, and a serious appreciation for the simple pleasures—especially other dogs and a sunny spot to lounge in. If there’s sunshine available, you can bet Denver will be right there, soaking it up like it’s his full-time job.

Denver is social, playful, and loves being around his dog friends. His goofy charm and laid-back hound vibes make him impossible not to love. Whether he’s trotting around the yard, flopping down for a sun break, or just being his silly self, Denver brings joy wherever he goes.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling and happily share your sunny afternoons, Denver is your guy. Come meet him—you’ll fall in love fast 🐾Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is based on making the right match. Though people can apply for a specific animal, we would like to know more about lifestyle and match a pet with that lifestyle. For example, we would not want to match an active dog with an inactive one. Therefore, our primary concern is the interview process and getting to know the potential adopter.
