If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Obsidian, Sid for short, was born March 2024 and surrendered with others from a barn environment. Our family adopted him from the shelter September 2024 with a female litter mate. He was friendly with us and very playful. Within the last 6-8 months from now (Jan 2026) he has shown an unhappiness in being in the same space as his female litter mate and we feel rehoming him would make him less stressed and happier.
We do not have a dog, hence why we don't know how he does with other dogs. Based on our experience with his litter mate we feel he would be best as an only cat. He is very affectionate with humans and enjoys adventurous play.
