Our gal Gertie is patiently waiting to go home with her new family. She's very affectionate and gentle. She will do best in a quiet home with a family who understands that she will be quite frightened at first and will need a lot of TLC and reassurance. Once Gertie starts to feel comfortable and safe, we're pretty sure that she'll blossom into a happy, confident feline companion. If you think you have the right home for our girl, please come to Rescue Village and ask to meet her. She's been waiting a long time!

All adoptions begin at the shelter. Upon arrival, you will fill out an Adoption Survey for the animal you are interested in. Once the form is submitted, a shelter specialist will meet with you to review important information about the animal you are interested in, including all medical and behavioral information we have on record.
Adoption surveys are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. On very busy days, we cannot guarantee we will have staff available to facilitate a meet & greet with an animal OR process the adoption – we may ask that you return the next day we are open to the public.
Once the Adoption Counseling is complete, animals go home with their adopter the same day! Rescue Village does not hold animals prior to adoption or post-adoption.
