Meet Eclipse
Hello! I’m Eclipse, a sleek little 1 year-old with deep black fur as mysterious as the night. I may look like a shadow at first, but I’m full of curiosity, energy, and love!
I’m playful, adventurous, and love exploring new things—whether it’s chasing toys, investigating cozy corners, or tumbling around with my siblings. But I also have a soft side: I love curling up on a lap for quiet cuddles and gentle purrs when it’s time to rest.
I’m looking for a home that will give me space to grow, play, and feel safe while showering me with affection. If you’re ready for a little bundle of mischief and love who will brighten your days in her own mysterious way, I’m your girl!

If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.

1.
Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
