Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Paisley
Paisley is a Great Dane mix with a gentle soul and the biggest heart. After a rough start in life, she’s truly blossomed in foster care and is now ready for the forever home she’s always deserved.
Her foster family describes her as the sweetest girl ever — and they’re not exaggerating. Paisley is wonderful with young children, does great with other dogs, and has impeccable house manners. She’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and settles in like she’s always been part of the family.
Paisley is the kind of dog who just wants to be near her people, soaking up love and giving it right back. She’s calm, affectionate, and endlessly grateful for kindness. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a soft heart and a gentle presence, Paisley might be your perfect match.
She’s done surviving — now she’s ready for her forever.

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be a no-kill animal welfare agency. We are committed to finding great homes for great pets! As a 501(c)(3) nonproft, we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund our programs and services. We are not affiliated with any other animal agency on a local, state or national level. Since 1902, our organization has been devoted to being a voice for the voiceless. Although we proudly find more than 2,000 animals forever homes every year, we are far more than an adoption center. We currently have a wide array of programs to support animals in our community. Through our high-volume spay and neuter clinic, we are able to help pet owners as well as battle cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return. Our humane society agents also work tirelessly to protect pets from cruel and neglectful circumstances through our Cruelty & Neglect Investigations Department. Through our Veterinary Hospital, we can provide top-quality access to veterinary care at a low cost to pet owners. In addition to our many programs, our organization is unique because we are the only agency in the community able to handle all types of animals. This includes cats and dogs but also rabbits, birds, farm animals, pocket pets and exotics. Our organization is committed to providing our community, our state and our region with support and care.
