CHIEF is currently being fostered in Suwannee County, Florida.
CHIEF was found, as a stray, in Suwannee County, FL. His finders took him to the local animal shelter. Once CHIEF’S stray hold was up, his finders went and picked him up, because they loved him that much! They took him to a veterinarian to be assessed, de-wormed, treated for fleas and vaccinated. He is scheduled to be neutered and will be microchipped, at the same time. I am helping with finding CHIEF a forever home.
CHIEF was 78lbs when found and is now a healthy 84lbs. He is very friendly, snuggly and cuddly. He will help keep you warm on these cold winter nights!
CHIEF looks to be some kind of shepherd (possibly Anatolian) and Great Pyrenees mix.
CHIEF does need a securely fenced yard. He can jump. He loves treats and will sit for food. He is very smart and needs a home familiar with these type of breeds. CHIEF is a great dog and will be a companion, for life, in a loving and caring home.

We are a small group of volunteers that save dogs of all breeds and mixed breeds from shelters where they will be euthanized because they are unwanted. We also take in dogs that are abandoned and stray. We try to help unloved, neglected dogs wherever we find them.
