Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We only adopt within the state of Florida. Our pets are in our boarding facility. All meetings are by invitation only. An application must be filled out online and approved by our adoption coordinator. A home visit, phone interview, and vet check with the applicant's veterinarian must also be completed before meeting the dog. All dogs in applicants' homes must be spayed and neutered before adoption is approved.

We are a Volunteer only rescue comprised of very special people who are willing to give their time, expertise, homes and loving care to help place Dobermans in need of rescue and LOVE. Our main goals are to rescue, protect and educate.
