Meet Smooch 
This little puppy kiss came to us from @bostonanimalcontrol and is currently soaking up love and learning the ropes in his foster home with Erika! Smooch is a bold little soul in a compact puppy body — curious, expressive, and already convinced he belongs right at the center of your world. He approaches life with confidence and commentary (he’s got a lot to say), but when the excitement fades, he’s happiest pressed up against his people, absorbing the closeness and comfort.
He enjoys meeting new folks, even if he takes a moment to read the room first. Give him a beat, and you’ll see his guard drop and his affectionate side take over — tail wagging, body wiggling, smooches ready. Around other dogs, Smooch is self-assured and playful, bringing a lot of energy and enthusiasm to his interactions.
Smooch has classic puppy bursts of chaos followed by impressive nap commitments. He loves short play sessions, learning new things, and then dramatically flopping down to recharge. Training is already one of his favorite activities — he’s food-motivated, engaged, and eager to show off what he knows.
He rides well in the car, settles into his crate with some reassurance, and is learning the ropes of house training like a champ. Cold weather is not his thing, but cozy blankets, warm laps, and early-morning bed snuggles absolutely are.
Smooch is looking for a home that appreciates a dog with opinions, intelligence, and a deep desire for connection. With guidance, patience, and consistency, he’s going to grow into an incredibly loyal companion — the kind of dog who bonds hard, loves fully, and makes it very clear that you are his person. Who wants a smooch???
