If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Rip is a 1-year-old neutered male Bullmastiff with the biggest heart. He loves a good game of fetch, lives for snuggles, and just wants to be close to his people. His previous family could no longer manage him and planned to take him to the pound, something I simply could not allow.
Rip is currently enrolled in obedience training; the rehoming fee requested will be used for his medical procedures and consistent behaviorist training due to mild resource guarding issues.
He is well-mannered, crate trained, and knows his basic commands: sit, down, stay, and he walks nicely on a leash (especially when treats are involved).
Rip would thrive best as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. He is loyal, affectionate, and deeply bonded to his people; the kind of dog who wants to be part of everything you do. He does require large amounts of exercise; a fenced backyard is a must.
