My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Fee: $475

When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

What we know: Patrice was transferred to Colorado Puppy Rescue from Española Humane (New Mexico). She arrived with the name “Patrice.” Per partner shelter notes, Patrice was found as a stray outside of a laundromat at approximately 5 weeks of age and was brought to Española Humane. She remained in foster care through the shelter until transfer to CPR at approximately 11 weeks old.

From the foster: Your Princess awaits! This high energy sweet girl is ready to be your shadow. She loves to follow us around and explore. She loves to be outside (no matter how cold her foster mom is). She loves to play with all toys and favors being with my 2 boys the most.

She is doing well with potty training and goes to the door to alert a lot. She has slept through the night in her kennel since day 1. She learned the stairs very quickly and is learning new tricks. She didn't start off snuggly but is definitely becoming a snuggle bug, especially right after a bath.

She loves running around the fenced backyard! I feel like she will love to explore on walks and hikes once she's fully vaccinated.

More about this rescue

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
