My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*located McMinnville Oregon

Healthy, Vaccinated, 14 months old, FULL GROWN at 40 lbs, Crate Trained, Potty Trained,
Trained to sit and wait until told he can eat!
Sits and waits permission to go outside!
Knows Commands! GOOD DOG.

Bonds Tightly With his Humans, Good With & Enjoys Other Big Dogs & Play
. - No Cats Please -
Loves Other Dogs Out & About & on adventures! Loves engaging.
Good with older children and adults. Prefers to be your solo pet in the home.
GREAT ACTION AND ADVENTURE OR PLAY BUDDY. VERY SMART & LOYAL

AT 40 POUNDS this dog meets most rental pet weight restrictions!
But is —- BIG ENOUGH —-
to provide SECURITY and peace of mind to owner
Who might want a jogging buddy, or hiking friend, or snuggled at home!
So loyal loving LOUIE will be by your side or between you and danger.

GREAT DOG FOR AN ACTIVE OWNER - loves learning and follows commands!
Louie is the perfect age for adoption! Tons of puppy love and energy but already potty trained, food trained, outside trained, and has good manners! He learns quickly and is overjoyed to make you happy.

Malemute /mini Australian shepherd mix
(in other words a high energy working dog breed mix.
These dogs are statistically very healthy, live longer,
& are much cheaper to insure!

LOUIE
is an adorable young pup. At only 14 months old he still has lots of puppy energy, but also adult maturity. Louie has some great training.
He will never go outside without permission!
and sits waiting to be told he can eat!
Knows various commands and always potties outside. Good Dog.
Fully grown Midsized dog at 40 lbs.

Special Details: - One blue eye one brown eye.

LOUIE will charm his new active owner. He wants to please and is smart!
Louie is devoted to people , he really wants a person to engage with him. He would be perfect as an exercise companion, agility, hiking, running, biking, skiing or playing ball/frisbee!

Louie is looking to make his humans happy! He wants to do a job to please you!
Tiny tot humans confuse him. He is looking for humans to focus him.
Louis is a great dog to the right person! He really is wonderful!
He just isn’t suited to being shut up inside without enough exercise.
Louis is a real dog (not a lap muffin). Lol

Reason for rehoming:
Louie has taken a strong disliking to both of our cats, his energy towards them isn’t good. We feel strongly that he should be adopted into a cat free home! Additionally with the demands of small children Louie isn’t getting the exercise, or the outside time, or the attention he deserves.
We recognize Louie needs an active home. Leo loves playing and outdoor adventures with other dogs. He wants to bond to his people.
Leo would be a true joy to an active owner or owners.

Louie is a blend of high energy smart working dog breeds.
Louie is a loyal companion!
Louie has brains and desire to please his people.

APPLY NOW
BE LOUIE’s NEW PERSON.
HE NEEDS A PLACEMENT SOON.
YOU WILL BE OVERJOYED.

Louie is an amazing dog!
Adopt LOUIE as your new exercise buddy and most loyal companion!

More about this rescue

We take in extremely high risk cats (occasionally other pets bonded to a cat, eg.. a bonded dog/cat pair) including hospice pets. We help cats that other rescues reject. Our focus is on seniors, medical needs, abandoned, feral momma cats etc. we are often the last stop option. We take animals from drug abusers who cannot care for them or are anbusing them and transfer most dogs to appropriate groups.
