Meet Jessica! FOSTER UPDATES BELOW AND MORE COMING SOON!
This two-year-old shepherd mix is one lovey dovey lady! All 64 pounds of her is ready to cozy up to you on the couch!
Jessica is currently enjoying some time away for a nice straycation and is loving every minute of it. She doesn't hesitate to greet new people with all the love she has to share. This girl is a true lap dog at heart and will happily shower her person with kisses and affection.
Just a few days into her foster home, she appears to be house-trained and crate-trained. She already knows how to sit for her treats which she takes gently. She is eager to please and learning even more in her foster home. Jessica is starting to get more interested in toys and it's wonderful to see her engage with them. She'll will never miss the opportunity for a belly rub— those are a big win for her.
This good girl walks nicely on leash and is eager to explore the world around her. She does not currently live with other animals in her foster home, but she interacted with other dogs calmly and greeted them politely at the kennel. She rode well in the car, but will need to be secured as she prefers to be close to her people. At the end of the day, she sleeps quietly through the night, dreaming of her forever family.
Based on our evaluation, we feel Jessica would do best in a active, but predictable home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. She may have the potential to live with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.
If you think Jessica is the pup you've been searching for, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com and submit your application for our delightful darling girl.
