Bessie is a beautiful tortie kitten who is still learning that the world can be a safe and gentle place. She can be startled by sudden movements and loud noises, but she’s making steady progress every day. When she’s settled and relaxed, especially if she’s laying down and hasn’t been startled, she allows gentle pets and clearly enjoys the quiet affection.
Bessie is playful on her own and entertains herself well, and she does nicely with other cats and has been doing well around dogs. Having a friendly kitty companion will be important for her confidence, so she must have a kitty friend in her new home. One sweet milestone? She was caught sleeping in bed last night, a big sign of growing trust.
She is fully vetted, litter box trained, and will do best in a patient, loving home that allows her to continue building confidence at her own pace. Bessie may be shy, but she’s a gentle soul who is already showing how special she can be once she feels safe.
