My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tater Tot (dilute orange) and his brother Otis are bonded five-month-old brothers who are looking for their forever home together. They are super sweet, gentle, affectionate, and playful purr machines. They were born indoors, to a sweet momma cat, who was adopted by a low-income family that didn't realize she was pregnant.

More about this rescue

We are a small foster-based cat rescue, serving the Port Washington, Manhasset, Roslyn, and Great Neck areas. We started this rescue 15 years ago when we came upon several large colonies of cats in our neighborhood that were rapidly multiplying and could not find a shelter or rescue to help take in any of the kittens. So we learned how to socialize and vet the kittens and find them forever homes on our own. At the same time, we learned how to trap, neuter, and return (TNR) to keep those colonies from reproducing. We now rescue, fix and find homes for around 70 cats and kittens per year. We are all volunteer-based and our fosters include close friends and neighbors.
