Meet Athena!

An October-born puppy with a big personality, a playful spirit, and a second chance at life.

Athena came into the world facing the unthinkable — she and her mom were pulled from the euthanasia list just in time. Thanks to her amazing mom, Hera, and a whole lot of love from her foster home, Athena has been thriving ever since. She’s grown up surrounded by care, stability, and other dogs, giving her the very best start.

True to her age, Athena is a typical puppy in every way — curious, wiggly, and equal parts playful piranha and cuddle bug. She loves to explore, chew, wrestle, and then crash hard for a nap. Her puppy antics keep her foster family laughing, and her sweet nature makes her impossible not to adore.

Athena is learning the basics of being a good dog and will continue to blossom with consistency, patience, and positive training. She would do best in a home ready to embrace all things puppy — including training, socialization, and lots of playtime. She is expected to be a medium-to-large dog when full grown.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue whose mission is to help unwanted animals in situations that could lead to harm or euthanasia. We primarily focus on animals with major medical illnesses, injuries or advanced age that are often overlooked and usually the first to be at risk of euthanasia. By partnering with shelters and the public, we promote responsible pet ownership, spay and neuter, and the adoption of special needs pets. It is our goal to save the un-savable!
