My name is Eden!

Eden is the kind of cat who keeps you on your toes in the best way — a total lovebug with a very clear “okay, I’m done now” boundary. She’ll soak up affection, happily draped over your shoulder like she belongs there… and then, a few minutes later, she’ll politely (or loudly) request to be placed back on the ground. Quirky queen behavior.

She’s blind and has hydrocephalus, but you would never know it from watching her move through her world. Eden is exceptional at being blind — confident, capable, and shockingly smooth about it. She’s a proud ground-dweller (no scaling cat trees over here), and she’s got one of my favorite little details: one side of her whiskers is white, and the other side is black.

Eden uses the litter box perfectly. With other animals, she takes a little time to warm up, but she does get to a place of tolerance and routine. She could also do great as an only cat if you’re home a lot, because she truly enjoys being near her person (until she doesn’t, of course).

Important care note: Eden has megaesophagus, which means she can only eat wet food and must never have access to kibble or any dry food — so her home needs to be a strictly no-dry-food environment.
