My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Murphy!
Murphy came to us with his sister Alani after their owner had to move and could no longer keep dogs. He is about 1 year old and is a sweet, friendly boy who does well with dogs and loves being around kids.

Murphy is an active, fun-loving pup who enjoys running, playing, and especially chasing after a ball. He would do best in a home with another dog to help keep him engaged and happy, and he’ll thrive with a family that can give him the exercise and attention he needs.

Murphy will require regular grooming every 4–6 weeks and daily exercise to keep him looking and feeling his best. He’s ready to bring joy, energy, and lots of love to his forever home.

Murphy is a little nervous at first but warms up quickly.
🐾 Could Murphy be your perfect match?

Tour/Adoption Hours:

Fridays: 3pm – 5pm
Saturdays: 11am – 2pm

During adoption hours we have volunteers available to show dogs and cats to the public. For safety/insurance reasons we can only allow those 12 years or older to go into the dog kennel wing of the shelter. We ask all visitors not to stick their fingers/hands into the dog kennels. Our adoptable dogs and cats are viewable through our website. Everyone interested in applying for a dog or cat must submit an application through our website. We receive multiple applications for each animal. Applications for particular animals are based on best fit for each animal based on each animal’s behaviors and needs. An application not being selected for a particular animal does not necessarily mean the application was denied, but just that another application was approved.
