Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in Pleasanton, Texas. Additional photos and videos will be made available to approved adopters Texas adopters will be required to pick up their adopted dogs in Pleasanton.
Effie is Apx two years old and 20 pounds. We believe she is either a rat terrier or Jack Russell terrier mix.
She came to the rescue heart worm positive but i bin treated and will b ready to go after Feb 6th.
She is a really good dog in many ways however she shows many terrier hunting breed qualities and does have a high prey drive to chase small animals like chicken, cats and can be quite dominant and plays too rough with small dogs as well . She would do best in a home with dogs her own size or larger. Or as an only dog. She does have a lot of good qualities. She is very social. She walks on a leash perfectly. She has good potty manners. She loves all humans, including children. She is a happy , clean, sweet, well mannered dog that is very people pleasy and will be easy to train and acclimate to a nee home and life. She is a perfect blend of active , playful and fun mixed with huge cuddle bug couch potato. She loves belly rubs and is very submissive with people. She is a lover girl and will make a great companion for the right family.
