Briar is a medium-haired dilute calico with a calm, easygoing personality. She’s a sweet 1 year old(ish) cat who enjoys her own space and can often be found napping on her own, but when up and about, she likes to be near her people. She’ll rub against you, ask for attention, and happily keep you company as your quiet little buddy.
Briar came from a home with too many cats and kittens, and with a child who was not treating them kindly. The animals were surrendered so they could be placed in safer, more manageable environments. She is now looking for a stable, calm home where she can settle in and feel secure.
Briar adores other cats and needs to be adopted with a friend or into a home that already has a gentle young cat or kitten. Briar enjoys feline companionship and would not do well as an only cat. She is also comfortable around dogs and is generally very laid-back.
Briar would be a good fit for many households, especially one that appreciates a cat who is affectionate without being demanding. If you’re looking for a friendly, easygoing companion who enjoys both independence and attention, Briar could be the girl for you!
Briar will be spayed February 5th getting ready to go home around the 7th. She’s up to date on vaccines, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
