Meet Johnny, an absolutely ADORABLE ~8 week old male mixed breed puppy! His coat is a unique almost sable color and he has beautiful greenish hazel eyes! He currently weighs about 6 lbs and we think he will likely grow to a medium sized dog.
Johnny and his sister June were found abandoned in a ditch in TN when they were just a few weeks old. They were taken in by our amazing neonatal foster who did everything she could to give them a fighting chance, but sadly Johnny's sister June did not make it Johnny on the other hand has been thriving and is a strong and healthy boy! He is now in CT and is ready to find his furever home!
Johnny is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs.
He is medically up to date (age appropriate), and working on housebreaking and crate training. Apply to meet this cute little guy today!

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!

After processing you application, you will be contacted to schedule a virtual home visit.
Approve Application
After your application is processed and your home visit is done, we will let you know if you are approved to adopt!
Meet the Pet
Once you are approved a meeting will be set up for you to meet with the dog you are interested in.
Sign Adoption Contract
The last step is finalizing the adoption! Sign their contract, pay the adoption fee, and take your furry friend home!
