My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Andie and Benjamin will be 9 weeks old on Tuesday, and their DNA results are in! According to Wisdom Panel, they are a mix of seven different breeds, with the top two being 61% Beagle and 27% Bluetick Coonhound. They are estimated to weigh between 33–55 lbs when fully grown and currently weigh 8 lbs. With their breed makeup, Andie and Benjamin will need homes that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training. These are intelligent, scent driven breeds that do best with structured routines, opportunities to explore safely, and families committed to continuing training as they grow.Their foster mom shares that both puppies absolutely love other dogs and will need a forever home with another playful dog. They are very snuggly pups, Benjamin is the more vocal of the two, while Andie is fairly quiet. Both sleep quietly in their pen through the night. If you are interested in adopting Andie or Benjamin (they will not be adopted together), please submit an adoption application at www.rescuerowinc.org.

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
