My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marcus is a sweet, gentle, and loving boy that loves to be close and cuddling to his human as much as he loves having his own space and chilling on his own. He was saved at the last minute from euthanasia at a Downey shelter and has been grateful and comfortable in his foster home ever since, but is ready for his forever family!

He gets along great with other cats. He can be shy around new people, but is very affectionate with his family. He is going to make a wonderful addition to a new home and will likely thrive with a brother or sister cat to grow and play with.

Additional adoption info

Black cats are half as likely as other cats to be adopted from shelters.

Black cats are considered bad luck because of ignorance and superstition.

Black cats are often passed over because they don't photograph well, but they are beautiful in person

Having black fur is a death sentence for most black cats

Black cats are just as lovable and deserving of homes and families as all other cats
