If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Jovi (we call him Kitty Cat) about 7 years ago. He is about 12 years old and was declawed (front and back paws) by his original owner- and is an indoor cat only. We are moving to a new home out of state and are not able to bring him with us. He is a lovely cat and we want to find him a loving home.
Before being adopted by me and my husband (we have no kids, no other pets) he lived with a senior gentleman who passed away. His adult son took in Kitty Cat to live with him and his young family (wife, toddler, infant and a large dog) for a few months until he could find a new home for Kitty Cat- as they didn't have room in their home for another pet.
Kitty Cat is pretty mellow, likes to hang out with us when watching tv, cooking in the kitchen, or visiting with family or friends.
We think Kitty Cat would do best living with adults, or with a small family. Very important that he in an indoor cat only.
