Meet the Pet
***Bart is currently at SoCo Rescue in Georgia. She is scheduled to be transported to New Jersey and be available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes over the Jan 31st weekend. An application for Bart's adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions about Bart and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the rescue.***
Bart and his sister, Lisa, were only about 3 months old when they were found as abandoned strays. Both were suffering from malnutrition, loaded with worms and parasites and suffering from loss of fur. They were very apprehensive of people and spent their first few weeks here doing their best to avoid us.
Bart is a very special pup that needs a very special adopter. He's extremely timid pup who, most likely, will always have some level of apprehension towards people. Regardless and from the improvements we have seen in him, we do believe that, with the right person, Bart will continue to make improvements. He'll benefit from having another well-socialized dog to hang out with.
Bart has now received 3 of his first year "puppy" vaccines, been de-wormed at proper intervals and even started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. He's also recently been neutered. Bart will require all of his basic training.
