Meet Kirby
— a handsome, freckle-faced Brittany with a heart that just needs the right person to unlock it.
Hello everyone, my name is Kirby. I was a stray, but I haven’t let that dull my sparkle. I’m a 4-year-old, 43-lb orange and white, freckled, neutered Brittany, and I’m ready to find my forever human.
I can be a little anxious when I first meet new people, but give me a bit of patience and kindness and you’ll see the real me shine through. Once I feel safe, I turn into a playful, snuggly, very sweet boy. One of my absolute favorite things? When you come into the yard with me—I get so excited because time together is my favorite thing.
I’m more of a “my space matters” kind of guy. I’ve been around other dogs and do just fine as long as they respect my boundaries. I don’t fence fight, I don’t cause drama, and honestly, I seem pretty content doing my own thing. Because of that, I may be happiest as your one-and-only best friend, soaking up all your love.
I’m a very good kennel boy too—especially compared to most rescues. I rarely have accidents and have never messed my kennel, which tells you I’m trying really hard to be the good boy I am (solid 8/10, if I do say so myself ).
What do I need to be happy?
If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, affectionate Brittany who will bond deeply with you and be your constant companion, Kirby just might be your guy. Give him a chance, and he’ll give you his whole heart
