If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This is sweet little Abigail. Nicknamed Abby for short. She’s about 10 years old and is a sweet cuddly bug. We adopted her from a rescue when she was just a kitten. I would describe her as very calm, loving, and gentle. Always looking for company and gets very attached to her caregivers. If you want a cuddle companion she’s #1 for the job. With her being so attached to her owners she needs to have a home that is patient and understanding. Someone who’s a homebody and can spend a lot of time around her. Due to her attachment she does have a lot of anxiety. The stress causes her to have bladder spasms and the constant feeling to have to go. She is litter box trained, but when she’s stressed like that she will go other places outside her box. Medicine is given to her daily to help cope with that. I believe she could really thrive in an indoor/ outdoor lifestyle (safe from wild animals) or with another cat companion to help calm her nerves.
