My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lenny is my boy. Photos do not capture his sweet and loving nature. I rescued him a few years ago through Hand in Paw. Like many black cats, he was initially overlooked, but in my experience black cats are incredibly special and beautiful inside and out.

While I do not know his exact age, I estimate Lenny is around 5 years old. He is very affectionate and loves sitting close, making eye contact, and simply being near his people. He has a calm and gentle presence and is comfortable both indoors and outdoors.

Lenny is great with children, dogs, and other animals and integrates easily into a family environment. He currently lives with another rescued cat named Stella who is approximately 3 to 4 years old. If possible, I would love for them to be rehomed together, though this is not required.

Rehoming Lenny is a heartbreaking decision due to my son’s worsening allergies. My priority is finding him a safe and loving home. Visits are welcome to see if Lenny and Stella are the right fit.
